Call for Artists & Designers to submit entries for our 2nd annual KikiDC Wearable Arts Fashion, June 20th 2014 at the Fillmore Silver Spring!!!

KikiDC strives to encourage a collision between fashion and the visual/performing arts to spark a new world of audiences and arts exhibition. We are committed to bringing wearable art to the attention of the DC metro area. Through this annual competition, we celebrate wearable art as sculpture that is able enough to be exhibited on the human form.

Not a “wearable arts” artists? No worries – not many are. Many of our artists from last year were trying this out for the first time as well, and found it to be a very rewarding experience and a new way to visualize their portfolio.

Prizes:
Grand Prize Winner: Have you ever wanted to visit the Big Apple to see the latest and most inspiring artwork in your field? Our grand prize winner receives an all-expense paid vacation, for two, to New York City (hotel, air fare, and a $250 voucher for your trip). We want you to get inspired –it’s on the house!!!
Honorable Mention: 1 month Artist Residency at the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center & $200 stipend for studio supplies at Plaza Artist Materials
