It’s Still Political – Call for Art
Las Laguna Gallery
Entry Deadline: Oct. 10
Artist Gallery Split: 65% Artist, 35% Gallery
Entry $35 for up to 3 images
For this exhibition, Las Laguna Gallery is seeking art pieces that express all things political, regardless of party or belief systems.
Though often divisive and inflammatory, we can’t avoid politics in today’s world. The intrinsic beliefs and opinions that shape us as human beings can almost always be seen in a political light.
The artwork may be literal of a politician or political issue or opinion, or it may be figurative and interpretive.
It’s still political, but we value all beliefs and the manner in which these can be expressed, artistically.
There are no restrictions on content, style, medium or context, but your entries should fit this theme, either traditionally or digitally, in some way.
This exhibition hopes to explore our political discourse with the use of imagery to make the point of our current state of the nation. Artists making serious political work, art that is reflective of our times, or political satire are invited to apply.
We invite and encourage artists of ALL ages to participate and look forward to seeing the creativity of your work. All local, national, and international artists, professional and amateur, are encouraged to submit their works for this art exhibition.
