The theme of HOME SWEET HOME welcomes artists with physical, mental or developmental disabilities to delve into subjects, themes, and motifs that have to do with HOME SWEET HOME.

Home can be a very specific dwelling, or a favorite place, or space. Home can be a person, or objects, that remind the artist of home.

Contemporary original 2D and 3D work in any media, including paintings, prints, drawings, photography, sculpture, and fine craft produced within the last two years is appropriate. 2D work should not exceed 24 inches in the longest dimension. 3D work is limited to 24 inches in the longest dimension and not more than 60 pounds for the whole piece.

Exhibition is open to disabled artists living in California over the age of 18. Artists whose work is juried into the exhibition will be asked to supply no more than 200 words about themselves and their artwork for the museum’s exhibition labels.
