Entry Fees (non-refundable): NAC Member: $10 per piece, $20 for 2 pieces, $25 for 3 pcs., $30 for 6 pieces. Non-member: $15 per piece, $25 for 2 pieces, $30 for 3 pieces, $35 for 6 pieces. NOT restricted to 3 pieces! Pick Up unsold works: Wednesday December 28 thru Friday Dec. 30, 12-4pm REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION Six works may be submitted (see ornaments and jewelry notes above). All works must be original and handmade by the artist. The outside frame dimensions cannot exceed 12” in either dimension. No saw-tooth hangers, easel backs, or clip frames. All media is eligible; giclee prints must be clearly marked as such. Work MUST be submitted WIRED & READY TO HANG, even if unframed. Sculptures/3D pieces accepted if they are 12” or smaller in any dimension. Non-conforming artwork may be rejected. Hanging ornaments, jewelry, and wearable accessories are also welcome. Artist submitting 3D work should provide a pedestal if possible. Jewelry artists should provide a display of some type. ALL WORK (each piece) must be tagged with the artist’s name and price. The Norwich Arts Council (NAC) will provide ID cards for framed 2D work at receiving, but all other items must be tagged by the artist with name and price. NAC reserves the right to exclude entries that are not in either the spirit of the exhibition or of a quality consistent with the exhibition’s intent. All work must be for sale. Work that is reasonably priced always sells better at this time of year. As this is a holiday show, work may be removed when it is sold. The artist is encouraged to replace sold work at no additional charge. The NAC retains a 30% donation on all sales. Artists will be paid for sales as soon as reasonably possible in January, and will be required to sign a W9 form for sales approaching $600 prior to receiving payment. While the utmost care will be taken in handling all works, the NAC, its directors and agents assume no liability for damage, loss or theft. All artists are responsible for insuring their own work. Unclaimed work will be disposed of at the discretion of the NAC. For works that cannot be picked up during specified times, please call NAC (new number: 860-887-2789) in advance. NAC reserves the right to publish photos of submitted works for use in publicity, including use on its web page. The submission of works to the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the artist to these conditions. Questions may be directed to Carol Dunn at 860-822-8412.
