TAG (Traveling Art Gallery) is proud to present a collaboration with The Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University, (1073 North Benson Road, Fairfield, CT 06824-5195) our upcoming exhibit, “History of Woman” in May 2012. TAG is putting forth a call for artists in the Fairfield and New Haven Counties Area to participate in the exhibit.

With the economic issues that have plagued the world and the hardest consequences being placed on women, TAG wants a different view/perspective of woman. TAG’s mission shares with its “mother’s”, Montage Initiative, Inc., that once the woman – matriarch of families and communities – is picked up out of poverty through a source for a sustainable living, financial, health, and spiritual wealth flourishes – combating the effects that poverty so lavishly placed. So, what we are seeking is not women in history but the “History of Woman.” How through so much tumultuous adversity through the centuries, woman has developed and perhaps where she will be in the future.
