Shoppe561, offering a fresh approach to retail by featuring handcrafted items made exclusively by Florida artists, is currently seeking artisans to feature in the store, which is scheduled to open in West Palm Beach in November 2013.

Shoppe561, founded by Janelle Lang, a 25-year executive with Gap Inc., will focus on continuously cultivating new artisans to offer quality, hard to find, hand-crafted items from artists throughout the state. Artisans of all types are welcome to submit an inquiry form on the website.

Lang’s vision is for Shoppe561 is to build a sense of community and leave a lasting impression on visitors by showcasing items rarely found in a typical store. A portion of all proceeds from the store will support the movement to end human trafficking, of which Lang is particularly passionate.

Genres being sought include:

· Home décor (fabrics, furnishings, seasonal, lighting, art)

· Hair accessories

· Pet accessories

· Baby gifts, toys & accessories

· DIY party decorations

· Sea-themed items
