Focus Iran: Contemporary Photography and Video

Focus Iran: Contemporary Photography and Video is a juried international group exhibition of approximately 25 photographs and videos organized by the Los Angeles-based Craft & Folk Art Museum (CAFAM) and the Farhang Foundation to showcase living artists whose works explore themes related to Iranian culture. The exhibition is an opportunity to facilitate the identification and development of emerging and mid-career photographers and media artists.

The exhibition will take place at the Craft & Folk Art Museum between January 25 and May 3, 2015. Selected artists will be determined from among all eligible entries received and reviewed by a panel of qualified judges to be announced. The jurors will consider pertinence to Iranian culture, originality, skill, artistic vision, and execution in the selection process.

Submission period: July 21 through September 21, 2014. All submissions will be made online.
