Juried show dedicated to enhancing the presentation and exhibit of functional ceramics, focusing on the fine art of dining, including place settings, serving vessels and platters, and dinner table décor of all types. JUROR: Nick Joerling. Cost: $30 entry fee for up to 5 images. ELIGIBILITY: Open to residents of the 50 United States and Washington DC.REQUIREMENTS: 1) Enter up to five functional pieces that would be included at a dinner table, i.e. place settings, serving vessels and platters. 2) Work submitted must be innovative and original in design and must be a personal expression of the artist’s intent. 3) Work submitted through the application process may be exemplary of work to be exhibited in the show (i.e., it must represent the same making, glazing and firing techniques). 4) Works must be made entirely out of ceramic materials 5) Work submitted for review must have been completed by the artist within the past three years. 6) Go to www.callforentry.org to submit electric entries online. • Size restrictions: each piece or set not exceed 30 inches in any dimension or 20 pounds in weight. If accepted, the artist may be requested to send more than one piece for the exhibit, e.g. one-to-four place settings and one or two serving piece(s)/set(s). • Accepted work, which displays poor craftsmanship or does not represent the style submitted as digital entry images will be withdrawn from the exhibit.
