This is the time when many people are decorating their homes for the holidays and the “Decorate Your Door” Photo Contest 2012 is a fun opportunity sponsored by the Marlborough Arts Center for you to take a picture of your holiday-decorated door and win a $100 prize. Plus, the prize winner will have their winning photo highlighted on the 2013 calendar designed by Robert Wrenn, the well-known Door Artist, of Glastonbury.

Rules of the contest are very simple. Take a picture of your family door, send a photo not to exceed 4″ x 6″ with the entry form found on the Art Center’s website at www.marlborougharts.org, and a $10 check for the entry fee to the Marlborough Arts Center, P.O. Box 313, Marlborough, CT 06447.

Deadline for receiving the photo is December 7. The winning photo will be chosen by a panel of artists and announced on December 10. Those 2013 calendars highlighting the winner’s decorated door will be for sale at the Arts Center, a proud gift for your family and friends to enjoy.

The “Decorate Your Door” Photo Contest is only one part of the Sleighs, Snow and Mistletoe winter season events from November 17 – December 20 at the Marlborough Arts Center, located in a restored historic building at 231 North Main Street in Marlborough, CT.
