The Vilcek Foundation is pleased to announce a new initiative entitled dART, short for digital art, developed to celebrate the creativity and accomplishments of foreign-born artists working in the realm of new media art.

We will be accepting submissions of work created by foreign-born artists using computer-based and new media technologies, to be featured in a brand-new digital art space created for this program—dARTboard—premiering on Vilcek.org in January 2012.

Submissions from artists will be accepted electronically until 5pm EDT on October 21st, 2011.

Eligible applicants must be foreign-born (originally foreign citizens) and be permanent US residents (green card holders) or naturalized US citizens.
