The pull of the tides, the power of the waves, the invitation of the rocky shoreline and the safety of the bay. Man has always had a deep, rich history with the ocean. Countless lives have been built and destroyed at its edge. Standing on an aging dock, you can almost hear the whispering of the spirits in the crashing of the waves. Seagulls fly by, gossiping about the fishermen who make their living among the rocks. Clambering down onto the slippery stones, you find a whole world in the tide pools and you realize how life depends on the coming and going of the tides and the passage of time.
