Cider and Clay: a Celebration of the Handcrafted
Grey Fox Mercantile
Entry Deadline: Sep. 29
Registration Form: https://greyfoxfelting.com/event/call-for-art-handmade-mugs/
To hold a favorite mug and sip from it a drink of choice is a ritual that many of us partake in each day. When we hold a mug that is handmade, there is an added level of human connection; from the hands of the potter to the hands of the individual who carefully selects it, the clay is transformed to hold meaning and function. Our next call for art, Cider and Clay, will feature handcrafted ceramic works in the form of functional mugs that explore and celebrate this daily ritual and the human connections it forges. Artists are encouraged to share mugs with unique forms, textures, and surface or structural design.
