This is a call for collaboration with a photographer based in Chicago for the documentation of a project that will be taking place in the streets of Chicago.
I am a visual artist working on a body of work called “Metamorphosis/USA” while traveling across the United States. It is a site-specific work engaging urban elements that I interpret through my practice. Next week, August 11-15, I will be be in Chicago working on the project and I am interested in having the process documented. The material would be featured on my site, serve as promotional material, function as support documentation when applying for funding/grands for my work, etc. If you would like to know more about the project you can refer to my site, www.vlassopoulou.com
The photographer would be devoting 4-5 total hours (split over two separate mornings) taking photographs and shooting short clips of the creative process in the streets of the city. No interviewing, studio shooting or editing will be requested.
