This open call to artists will include art that responds to text and linguistics. For centuries, words in art were used to convey a message. Text, signs, and symbols intertwined have created some of the most profound and interesting imagery in the past 3000 years, from ancient runes to present day internet shorthand. Feel free to dig into your natural love of literature, word games, calligraphy, or languages through your artwork!

Artists are encouraged to submit work to this open call that will explore the use of text in any way, shape, or form.
