This assignment will challenge you to interpret your dreams or nightmares. REM, or rapid eye movement sleep, is the fifth of the five stages of sleep most people go through each night and when dreams most likely take place. Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind.

Your challenge as a participating artist depict a recurring dream, nightmare or daydream through 2D (painting, photography, graphic or collage) or 3D (sculpture). Throughout history the understanding of dreams has been studied and portrayed through master works.
