Oil Painters of America will hold its 2012 Eastern Regional Juried Exhibition of Representational Oil Paintings, September 29 through October 28, 2012 at the Bennington Center for the Arts in Bennington, Vermont. Approximately 9 awards will be given with a total value estimated at $11,500 including a $4,000 Best of Show. This year’s Juror of Awards is Master Signature member Kenn Backhaus. Deadline for mailed-in slide submissions is Thursday, June 14, 2012. Deadline for on-line submissions is Friday, July 6, 2012. To enter, artists must reside in the U.S., Canada or Mexico and be a current member of OPA at an annual fee of $60. Eastern Exhibition entry fee: $30 for the first entry, $15 for the second.
