Calling all artists: Starting Monday, June 8, the Lyme Art Association (LAA) will be accepting art entries for its juried show, Expanding Visions, which will be on view from July 24 – September 11 on LAA’s gallery walls. Paintings, drawings, hand-pulled prints, and sculpture of all media are welcome.

Artists do not need to be Connecticut residents to enter the show, but they do need to be a Lyme Art Association Member to apply. All Lyme Art Association Member Artists are welcome to enter their artwork in this juried show.

About the Expanding Visions theme: While LAA is committed to its focus on representational art, it knows that its member artists work in many styles, and with Expanding Visions, LAA celebrates this variety. It encourages member artists to submit their best work in any style or subject matter that they have been exploring from hyperrealism to nonrepresentational abstract. Through this exhibition, LAA hopes to highlight the unique and innovative perspectives of its member artists and to inspire viewers to broaden their own artistic horizons. The work will be installed in LAA’s Goodman gallery.

LAA is accepting art submissions starting Monday, June 8. Deadline to apply is Friday, June 26 by Midnight.
