OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:
3S ARTSPACE’S STORE GALLERY

Store Gallery, the temporary gallery space at 3S Artspace located in Portsmouth, NH, is looking for proposals from regional, national, and international artists or curators working in all media for solo and group exhibitions for 2013. Our gallery space, is a roughly 550 square foot space, comprised of a 18.5’ by 24.5’ room with an 7’10” drop ceiling and an adjoining 9’ by 9’ alcove with a 7.5’ drop ceiling. The gallery runs on a six-week exhibition cycle. As a non-commercial space, we do not take into consideration whether exhibitions feature saleable work. Though we believe that artists ought to be paid for their work whenever possible and are willing to consider creative funding strategies where appropriate, we are not able to guarantee sales, commissions, or stipends.

All gallery proposals should include a brief cover letter addressing why you believe your proposal would be a good fit for 3S, between 6 and 10 images or work samples, a curriculum vitae, artist’s statement, and reviews if available. Both individual and group show proposals will be considered.
