Artspace Call for Exhibitions

All entries must be submitted through www.callforentry.org (CaFÉ).
Artspace is seeking innovative work for solo and/or group exhibitions from artists working in all media for Gallery 1 and Gallery 2. Both emerging and established artists are eligible. We welcome applications from artists based throughout the U. S. and from international artists. Exhibitions will be scheduled for September 2014 and beyond.
Exhibitions typically run for 6-8 weeks with an opening reception being held during First Friday Gallery Walks. Many exhibits include an artist’s talk or demonstration. Exhibits are free and open to the public. All exhibitions are supported through press, insurance coverage, and small stipends to support the work of artists. Artspace creates a brochure for each exhibition. Works may be for sale, however, Artspace does not place an emphasis on the sale of artwork, but rather on the educational aspect of the exhibitions. Artspace takes a small commission of 30% on works sold in our galleries.
Submit the information below via CaFÉ www.callforentry.org. *Submissions will NOT be accepted in any other format.* Please note, current Artspace Artists Association members are NOT ELIGIBLE.
1. Applicants may apply with up to 13 artwork samples (up to 10 images and/or up to 3 videos). All work must be original works of art, created by the artist within the last two years.
2. Please include detailed information with each image including title, medium, dimensions/time, date completed, etc.
3. Description of current work/proposed exhibition.
4. Current resume.
5. Artist Statement.
6. $15 application fee (mail checks to Artspace or pay online with a credit card).
