We welcome entries which involve the theme of water in any way: water as artistic medium, subject or inspiration; representational and abstract; 2- and 3-dimensional. Any exceptional aspects in the entry, such as medium, size or weight, need to be discussed in advance. Please call (860) 388-0907.

JURORS: David Brown is a painter of landscapes, portraits, and chickens and flowers from his organic farm in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. His solo exhibitions include the New Britain Museum of American Art and the Florence Griswold Museum. (www.hayhouseonline.blogspot.com)

Judith Barbour Osborne is an abstract and non-objective painter utilizing multiple water mediums on paper. She is Director of Gallery One and exhibits nationally and internationally. Her work is in private and public collections including Mobile Museum of Art (www.jboart.com).

DELIVERY: Hand delivery only Thursday and Friday, October 13 and 14, 2-6 p.m. Gallery One is located at 665 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, CT, in a commercial space 2 doors from HomeGoods in the Old Saybrook Shopping Center.

PICK-UP OF WORK NOT ACCEPTED IN EXHIBITION: If you do not hear from us, please pick up your work between noon and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 16 or Tuesday, October 18, 10:00 – 5:30 p.m..

PICK-UP OF WORK AT END OF EXHIBITION: Sunday, November 6, noon – 3:00 p.m.
