CALL FOR ENTRIES – 35th Annual Members’ Show at Carriage Barn

New Canaan, CT – Entry deadline for online entries and mailed CD entries to the 35th Annual Members’ Show at the Carriage Barn Arts Center in Waveny Park is Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Alternately, members may enter by hand delivering entries to the Barn on Receiving Days, September 5th, 2 – 6 pm or Thursday, September 6th from 8 – 11 am along with all the artists who entered online.

The Exhibition is free to enter for members of the New Canaan Society of the Arts. Artists are welcome to join as new members and participate in the upcoming show. Two submissions in any media are accepted for consideration, either online or on Receiving Days, and one is chosen for the exhibit. Online entries are notified of chosen work at the Gallery website. All subjects and styles are encouraged.

An Opening Reception will be held on Wed, September 12th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The Reception is free and open to the public. The Show will run through Wednesday, October 3, 2012.

The Carriage Barn Arts Center is a non-profit, member-supported community cultural organization. Exhibitions, lectures, classes, concerts and other events are held in a restored nineteenth century stone barn on the grounds of a former estate, now Waveny Park.
