This juried national competition is open to artists who are 18 or older and are living in the United States. Work may be in any medium, but it must be original, recently completed and designed to hang on a wall. There is no theme. We are looking for a varied exhibit of contemporary American art. Entry deadline is May 10. Fee is $30 for 2 images. Prize money totals more than $8,500 and includes three $1,000 Awards of Excellence. No commission taken on any sales. Exhibit opens with a reception at Nicolet College in Rhinelander, Wis. on July 22 and closes September 12, 2014. This year’s judge is Linda Benedict-Jones from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh.
