The Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly invites artists to participate in their 21st Annual Regional Exhibit. The largest and most diverse show of ACGOW’s year, the juried Regional Show is open to local and regional artists. All fine art and fine craft media are eligible. Exceptional work is recognized in various categories and prizes will be awarded, including, new this year, the Louise Pittaway Award.

This year ACGOW is honored to have Roberta Richman, MFA, Printmaking, Indiana University, BA, Fine Arts, Brooklyn College, and founding Artist Member of Hera Gallery, as juror. Ms. Richman will be responsible for determining the winners of the following Fine Arts and Craft awards. For the first time, ACGOW will award the $500 Louise Pittaway Award, in honor of the Connecticut painter and photographer. Fine Art awards also include the $200 Washington Trust Company Award; $100 ACGOW Award; $200 Professional Planning Award and the $100 Jerry’s Artarama Award. Five $250 Craft Awards will be given by the Katherine Forest Crafts Foundation.

Hand-delivered entries will be received at the gallery on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27, 12 – 5 PM.

An Opening Night Reception for May’s Regional Exhibit will be held on Friday, May 2nd, from 5PM to 8PM, with Awards at 7PM.
