The Houston Bay Area Juried Exhibition will be juried by Houston gallerist Wade Wilson, who will award cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200 for first, second, and third place. All forms of media will be considered, but artworks must be installation-ready, safe for visitors, and less than 10 feet tall. Selected artists will be required to fill out a loan agreement and are asked to participate in a public gallery talk during the run of the show.

For artists in the local community, the Houston Bay Area Juried Exhibition affords them the opportunity to showcase their talents in a highly professional and academic setting. For UHCL, the presentation of works reinforces the university’s position as the hub of the visual arts in the Clear Lake region.
