In celebration of Chicago Photography Center’s 10th anniversary we are hosting a juried exhibition around the theme of “10”. A lot happens in 10 years, the passing of a decade, the evolution of an idea, growth and change. What does 10 mean to you? CPC is looking for traditional or non-traditional photography that creatively interprets the theme of “10” as the passage of time, activity, or a duration. The exhibition will be curated by Gregory “Eddi” Jones.
Eligibility:
Emerging and established artists working in photography.
Maximum framed image size is 30” x 40”
Accepted images must be mounted and framed in a professional manner and properly wired for hanging (no colored mats or frames). Clip-on and poster frames are not acceptable.
Artists are responsible for delivery and pick up of their work, including all shipping costs to and from the gallery.
All work must have been created within the last 2 years.
All work must be available for purchase. CPC will take a 50% commission on the retail price of all artwork that is sold through the gallery. Artists will be paid within 30 days of a sale.
Submission guidelines: Applicants may submit a maximum of 3 images: jpgs (72 dpi, no smaller than 1200 pixels on the shortest dimension, with title, year, media, dimensions. File names (for images AND other documents) = artist’s last name (underscore) first name, followed by the entry number (i.e.Jones_Mike_1.jpg). via email to [email protected] Type your last name and “10 submission” in the subject line of the email (i.e.Jones 10 Submission). Be sure to include your contact information.
There is a required entry fee of $20.
