The Warmth of the Winter Sun and Open Exhibition 

The WCA/NH’s exhibition, Apricity will debut on January 9, 2026 with an opening reception that night from   6-9pm/.
Later in the month a second event that includes the Concord Garden Club will take place from January 22-24. with floral arrangements inspired by our art.  It will include a second reception on January 23, from 5-7pm. Unlike last year, floral arrangements will be in both galleries.

CURATING PROCESS:

Submissions will be curated by Inez McDermont, WCA/NH founding member.  She will choose work with a view to inclusion and will make an effort to select at least work from each artist member.

This year, WCA/NH members may participate in the creation of floral arrangements along with Garden Club members. by choosing from the web gallery and later from the actual work on display. We will send more information about that later.WCA/NH members may participate in both submitting art and designing an arrangement.

ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS:
Any medium will be considered. There is no expectation of work depicting flowers. The floral designers are open to any style or subject matter. 3-D works are welcome. If framed, works on paper should be matted or lifted away from the glass with archival
matting or spacers. Frames and mats must be clean, professionally cut/constructed, and undamaged.

At delivery, all framed works must be wired and ready to hang.
Saw tooth hangers, Pop-in frames, free standing, and PLASTIC frames NOT accepted.

The curator and the Executive Director of Kimball Jenkins reserve the right to reject any
work upon delivery.
