Queef: A Novel is written by Casey Spec. It displays the adventures of Sam Turner, a teenager growing up amidst the horrors of suburban Connecticut. Through his perspective, we are thrown through a darkly comedic world of angst, isolation, and self discovery. When Sam was born, he felt like he was regarded more as vaginal flatulence (a queef) to his alcoholic mother than an actual human being. He is haunted by the abrupt loss of Christine, his sister and the closest friend he had in this world. Sam is alone to process loving himself, making friends, understanding the world around him, and saving his relationship with his selfish mother. All while battling his feelings of being just a queef.

We welcome you to a gallery show where 30 established and emerging artists have come together, illustrating the novel chapter by chapter, in a wide range of mediums. They are their own personal perspective, sharing there feelings about growing up broken.

The book will be available exclusively through Hygienic Art for the month of August!
