LUX Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization that provides for new art experiences to suit different ages and interests. They teach art classes in pottery, printmaking, painting, jewelry, glass, and fibers. Classes are held at the art center and are located off-site in a variety of programs. The LUX Center offers exhibitions in two galleries that represent the quality art work of local, regional, and national artists.

following quote taken from the LUX Center for the Arts  website. “Over 450 fine art prints collected by the art center’s benefactor, Gladys M. Lux, are preserved in the Gladys M. Lux Historical Gallery. Selections of prints are always on display with information that relates to the history and significance of each piece. This provides an opportunity for the community to see artwork by some of the most significant artists of the early and mid twentieth century, including Guy Pene DuBois, Joseph Hirsch, Dois Emrick Lee, Fletcher Martin, Georges Schreiber, Margurite Zorach, and many others.”
