In concert with its upcoming Under the Cuban Sun exhibition, the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts will explore the nuanced history and culture of Cuba with an open-mic night on November 3rd from 5-7 pm.

The open-mic night, titled Voices of Cuba, is open to the public. Anyone with an authentic testimony about Cuba or Cuban culture is invited to share. Presenters from all cultures and backgrounds are invited to participate. All forms of storytelling are welcome. Poetry, songs, anecdotes, personal mementos, letters, recipes, objects and, of course, photographs are a few examples of things that guests can share.
