Students in this class will be making painted papers to use for covers in the construction of a Cross Structured book style, which is an exposed stitch binding. The covers will be painted from a selection of different techniques and medias. Students may choose which media look they prefer for their covers. Each binding is hand stitched by the students creating a unique hand bound book. Two books will be completed in this class.
