Art has been an experience that has encompassed many meanings for me. Inspiration, escape, freedom, chance and dreams. I’m thankful for art for its diverse nature and how its significance has adapted to me as I’ve progressed through life.

Why do you THANK ART?

I’m inviting artists to share their interpretation of the theme THANK ART for an upcoming fall pop up show. Artists with work that meditates on the appreciation of the creative process in its various forms and guises are encouraged to submit. The expression of artistic gratitude in the work does not have to be explicit and can be defined in loose terms.

For instance, thankfulness for an artwork can be expressed because of its emotional experience or thankfulness can be expressed because the process of making a work offered some relief. There are no limits to your depiction of gratitude.

The exhibition will be on view at Dr. Jeckyll’s Beer Lab on 2420 West Park Row, Pantego, TX 76013.
