Non-members: $35 for up to 3 entries or $50 for 4-5 entries.
Artists of MarinMOCA members: $30 for up to 3 entries or $45 for 4- 5 entries.

Juror: Richard Elliott
Elliott is Associate Professor and former program chair in the Textiles program at California College of the Arts. He is a practicing artist whose own work involves image transfer and digital processes onto paper, fabric, and sausage casings, investigating the abstract beauty of cellular structures, systems, and patterns hidden
within the human body. Elliott is a past recipient of a California Arts Council Artist In Residence grant for working with developmentally challenged adults at Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, CA

This exhibit is open to all fiber art. For the purposes of this exhibition, fiber art is defined as artwork that uses natural or synthetic pliable elements as a major material, and emphasizes art over craft. This exhibition encourages fiber art submissions that further the distance between traditional woven art (tapestries, weavings) and their work through unique or novel approaches in technique, material, or subject matter. We encourage the rebels, rogues and renegades of fiber art whose work can be found at the very edge of the genre.

Open to all U.S. resident artists 18 and over. You are invited to submit up to 5 digital images of your original artwork completed in the past five years, not previously shown in a MarinMOCA or Artists of MarinMOCA exhibit. Only online entries with digitally uploaded images will be accepted. Digital entries must be RECEIVED via online application on or before midnight, FRIDAY PST, April 21, 2017. Notification will be by online list of accepted artwork and via email.
