Artist Biography
The wildness that flows through wild rivers and mountains flows through the water colors and acrylic ink paintings of Roderick MacIver, founder of the nonprofit art publisher Heron Dance.
Heron Dance is now in liquidation – signed, limited edition prints and collections of Rod’s art and poetry are half price.
In the nineteen years of Heron Dance, Rod has painted just under 900 paintings, almost all of which are sold. Heron Dance has also published about twenty books of Roderick MacIver art and writing, all of which are sold out, except those republished by outside publishers. Those and used copies, some of which sell for hundreds of dollars each, can be found on Amazon.
